The CORE Action team is kickin’ it at the Etnies GvR Skate Comp in Lake Forest, California. We’ll be reporting in periodically posting pics and updates from the event, so keep checking in every few hours or so.
DAY ONE—Thur. Oct. 2nd—Hometown Heroes Qualifiers
Hundreds of kids of all ages entered to compete on the crazy-sick Etnies skatepark looking to qualify for the HH finals coming up on Sunday. There were some kick ass AM’s tearing up the course. Click here to check out the HH qualifier photos!
DAY TWO—Fri. Oct. 3rd—Etnies Bowl Jam
Etnies Bowl jam took place on the super-tight keyhole bowl and featured the Girls, Pros and the Grand Master Pros. The highlight of the event was watching old schoolers, Christian Hosoi, Lester Kasai and Duane Peters carving up the bowl with soul. Click here to see the Bowl images!

DAY THREE—Sat. Oct. 4th—Etnies GvR Qualifiers
GvR got kicked off righteously earlier today with the Girls and Men Qualifiers. Although there was a slight bit of rain, the Etnies crew quickly sponged the park and the action was soon under way.

DAY FOUR—Sun. Oct. 5th—Etnies GvR FINALS—REGULAR WINS!!!
Yo, the finals just got finished and man the skating was off the hook. There was some crazy action from both the Goofy and Regular skaters. Since the scores were so close, a game of sudden death SKATE took place to determine the winning team. Chris Cole wins MVP award and takes away $15,000!! Click here to check out the pics!!
