We have a green board…big deal, or is it? We at Bataleon will be the first to admit that snowboarding is not a green activity. Every time you fuel up your car, drive to the mountain, ride gas powered lifts all day and cruise runs made by cutting down carbon-eating trees, you’re not exactly giving mother-nature a high-five. Even so, we all need to do our part to help preserve and protect our natural resources to ensure we all have snow to ride in the future.
With that in mind, we present to you the Project Green. With this board, we’ve begun a project that pushes what is possible in green snowboard engineering. With recycled sidewalls and base material, a FSC certified wood core and a non-oil based special top sheet, the Project Green is one of the most eco-friendly boards on the market.
Of course, even with all of the high-tech, eco-advanced materials, the Project Green still comes with our patented Triple Base Technology which allows you to butter better, traverse first and straightline faster than any other board available, so pick up a Project Green and do your part to reduce your carbon bootprint.
