Core Action was on location at Keystone resort in Keystone, CO yesterday to check out the rocky mountain on-snow.

After the big SIA snow show in Las Vegas, all the major ski and snowboard companies gather in the rocky mountains to give retailers the chance to test ride next year’s products.
For 3 days a tent town is formed at the base of Keystone Resort. People were grilling hot dogs, listening to the DJ, drinking Redbull and having a good time. When I was a buyer, this show really helped me with my final decisions. Its difficult to determine sometimes if a board is all that unless you are on it going 50 mph!
One shop owner told me, “It’s always good to bring a few employees along with different riding styles to get a true opinion”.
He continued, “We make it a point to tell our customers that we test ride all our boards. We won’t sell boards that are not up to our standards”.
